The Rider Boys Golf Team finished third out of nine teams at the district tournament at Maumee Bay State Golf Course ending their season. The top two teams advance to the state championship at NCR Country Club on October 6-7. Ottawa Hills was first with 321 and was followed by Liberty Benton with 332. St. Marys came in with 339 in the blustery conditions. Ottawa Glandorf shot 341 to take fourth place. Leading the Riders and earning Second Team All-District Honors was senior Blake Dingledine who came in with 81 including a sizzling 35 on his last nine holes. Senior Braylon Lampert and junior Hayden Roby both carded 84. Rounding out the team total was sophomore Caleb Rohrbach's 90. Sophomore Gaige Newbauer shot 91. The Riders end their season with an impressive 114-12 record. Coach Schmitmeyer is proud of their hard work, effort, and dedication to the Rider Golf Program.
