MS GIRLS BASKETBALL

The St. Marys Middle School girls basketball team took on Shawnee on Thursday evening. The 7th grade squad was victorious, 32-11. Adi Williams and Kenna Fulmer led the charge with 8 points apiece, while Ari Klausing tallied 7. Bailey Lampert and Kali Craft each had 4 points, and Lila Ballweg added a free throw. In the finale, Shawnee took control in the last few minutes, handing the Roughriders a loss with a score of 30-13. Morgyn Parsons paced the Lady Riders with 6 points, and Emery Verbryke contributed 4. Hailey Schwind added a bucket and Joslyn Cable chipped in a point from the charity line. The 7th grade team heads into Christmas break with a 4-0 record, while the 8th grade sits at 1-3.
