JV BASEBALL BEATS PARKWAY

Saint Marys Memorial Roughriders JV Surge Past Parkway Junior Varsity Panthers Thanks To Big Seventh Inning Saint Marys Memorial Roughriders JV defeated Parkway Junior Varsity Panthers 11-1 on Monday at Parkway Athletic Complex thanks in part to eight runs in the seventh inning. an error scored two runs, Aidyn Johns singled, scoring one run, Tate Slusher singled, scoring two runs, Rawlin Buck singled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run. Saint Marys Memorial Roughriders JV were the first to get on the board in the second when Slusher doubled, scoring one run. Cain Christopher earned the win for Saint Marys Memorial Roughriders JV. The starter allowed two hits and one run over six innings, striking out six and walking two. Bryson Painter took the loss for Parkway Junior Varsity Panthers. The righty went five and one-third innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out six and walking two. Rodney Buck threw one inning of no-run ball for Saint Marys Memorial Roughriders JV in relief. The reliever allowed one hit, striking out one and walking none.
